Privacy policy
Last updated 10 October 2026
Skitsmith is a private tool that publishes videos to channels owned by its operator, Shiloah Software Testing Limited, a company registered in New Zealand ("we"). This policy explains what data it accesses and what we do with it.
Who uses it
Only the operator's own staff. Skitsmith has no public users and does not collect personal information from members of the public.
Data it accesses
- YouTube (Google): with the operator's permission, Skitsmith uploads videos to its own channels (
youtube.upload) and reads the status and view counts of those videos (youtube.readonly). - Facebook (Meta): with a Page access token, Skitsmith publishes reels to the operator's own Pages and reads their publishing status and insights.
How it is stored
Access tokens are kept only on the operator's own computer, in files readable by a single user account. They are never uploaded to a server or shared. Publishing records (which video went out where and when) are kept in the operator's private project files.
Sharing
We do not sell, rent or share any data with anyone, and do not use it for advertising.
Google API Services
Skitsmith's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. It also uses the YouTube API Services, so the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy apply.
Revoking access
Access can be removed at any time: for Google at myaccount.google.com/permissions, and for Facebook under Settings → Business integrations. Removing access stops Skitsmith from publishing; the operator then deletes the stored tokens.
